Pervettes is an expression of pleasure through delicate objects and supple shadows

by Los Angeles-based artist and puppeteer Jen Blackburn. At its core, the works reflect a voyeuristic comfort. Using the  act of making as a therapeutic process - a way to find clarity, grounding, and forgiveness through rhythm and repetition.

Each piece is a record of quiet time with the self - where repetitive touch becomes gestures of repair. Muted textures and softened edges invite intimacy without spectacle. Rather than demanding attention, they offer presence - a kind of stillness that holds space for the viewers narrative.
